Slipways is a well equipped and bright first floor flat, fully refurbished and offering an ideal central Salcombe position. The property is located in the heart of the town, offering comfortable holiday accommodation within a few yards of the pubs, restaurants, quays and shops. The property sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, master bedroom with 5ft bed, bedroom two with full-size bunk beds. The bathroom has a large corner bath with shower (over). There is a very comfortable lounge with large double sofa and window chairs to enjoy the stunning estuary views. The kitchen is well equipped with dining table and chairs. Slipways is a great base for couples or young family looking to explore the beautiful sandy beaches and area. Located in the centre of town. Due to the location of this property it may be noisy when the town is very busy.No pets permitted.
Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens.
