Smugglers Haunt Hotel is a 300-year old building in the charming fishing town of Brixham. It offers bed and breakfast accommodation a 2-minute walk from Brixham Harbour.

Guests can enjoy the beach and the picturesque views of Tor Bay, just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. The stunning Dartmoor National Park can be reached in 30 minutes’ drive.

The Smugglers Haunt is now under new ownership and is running as a bed & breakfast only. (The bar is closed until further notice) We have 14 en-suite bedrooms of various sizes over two floors. Parts of the building can be dated back to the mid 1600's and has iver its history been a boarding house, a Carpenters and Coffin shop and later a dairy. The famous Brixham Smuggler Bob Elliott is also known to have resided here . This is a vibrant town which draws young and old back every year. We have been lucky enough to have many familiar faces stay here year after year. What you will get here is a friendly welcome, clean bedroom and a good breakfast.

Our main industry in Brixham is fishing and we are one of the busiest ports in Europe. There is always something going on here from Regattas, Pirate Festivals, Heritage Weeks and Food Fests to name but a few. These events draw thousands of people to Brixham every year and every Summer there are not enough rooms to cope with it all. This is a vibrant town which draws young and old back every year. We have been lucky enough to have many familiar faces stay here year after year.
