Information about the host

The Hay House is situated on a working farm within 65 acres of pasture land, grazed by horses. The property is a converted stable block recently converted to provide a large 1 bedroom self contained little house. We have made the most of the views with large windows overlooking the fields and local golf course. The decor is in keeping with the feel of the farm, rustic yet comfortable and homely with a few quirky aspects thrown in. We have excellent local pubs & restaurants . We also have a local shop and the 18 hole golf course / range is open to non members.

Chilworth Old Village is within a conservation area, quiet yet very accessible just off the M27 between the market town of Romsey (3.5 miles) home of Broadlands & Romsey Abbey & Southampton (5 miles) great for shopping at West Quay, or visiting the Old City Walls & Tudor House. King Alfreds city of Winchester (11.4 miles) Where you can see the famous round table at The Great Hall. visit the Cathedral. If your a foodie Winchester has a farmers market where you can buy local produce or if you fancy a stroll you can walk the Itchen river or the South Downs National Park.
