Information about the host

This spacious en-suite room is on the ground floor of our detached family home. Situated, literally on the edge of Glenurquhart Woods, it provides direct access into the woods connecting onto the Affric/Kintail Way. Although this is room only accommodation, complementary fruit, biscuits, water and pastries will be provided upon arrival.

My husband and I live here with our two boys and our two labradors. We are an active family and busy household. It's the perfect place for those who love spending time outdoors, walking, running, cycling. Please note: we have young boys therefore this is not a quiet home; however we will endeavour to be as peaceful as possible during your stay!

Our home is a 5-10 minute drive from the popular tourist village destination of Drumnadrochit. Where you will be able to visit Urquhart Castle, the Lochness museum and enjoy delicious cuisines from the many restaurants.
