Barbara & Nick invite you to their Beautiful Country retreat in its own private grounds, situated on the River Clywedog nature trail. There are many walks, beautiful woods, wildlife etc, all this make our Bed & Breakfast unique. We are three miles outside the town of Wrexham in North Wales, just 20 mins from Chester. Free Internet access, plenty of parking. This retreat (Bed & Breakfast) comes with a difference because :- Barbara also offers for an extra price for those who wish to indulge -beauty pampering for female and male visitors, which may include Hot stone massage, Indian head massage, manicures and pedicures just to name a few - your stay here at Can-Yr-Afon (Song of the River) will be a memorable one - There are plenty of nice restaurants in the surrounding area. Cinema and Ten Pin Bowling nearby too. Please note: If you are booking for 3 - 4 people, you will get a double ground floor room and a double first floor room which share the same bathroom which is located on the ground floor. If you are 1 - 2 people you will get the double ground floor Golden Room.

We are tucked away down a little lane then 150 mtrs up from the Ford (River and footbridge) up a private drive. The peace and tranquility is amazing, no roads, no noise of cars, just birds singing, the sound of the River trickling over the pebbles and stones. In Spring & Summer you can sit out on the new patio (indian stone) right by the River and we have a fire pit also. We also have other seating areas with tables and chairs, nice to relax and just soak up the sheer beauty of your surroundings. We have plenty of Owls, Pipistrelles, Buzzards and other Birds of Prey.
