Camilla House is a late Georgian town house built in 1836 for a Master Mariner operating out of the port of Penzance and now tastefully converted accommodation for visitors to Penzance. Relax in a friendly environment which has recently undergone refurbishment to all bathrooms, guest lounge and hallway to provide a high specification finish that maintains the original character and charm. Provides an ideal base for exploring West Cornwall – St Michael’s Mount, Lands End, St Ives, Minack Theatre, many Sub Tropical Gardens and convenient for travel to the Eden Project & Falmouth Maritime Museum. I moved to Cornwall from London in 2014 when I purchased Camilla House. I had worked as a QS in construction and had no experience running a Guest House or living in Cornwall or owning a dog but I do all three now and thoroughly enjoy it.

Regent Terrace is a quiet terrace with Grade II listed buildings, set behind Penzance Promenade, within a minute or two walk of the Jubilee Pool and a five minute walk of the harbour where the Scillonian arrives/departs for the Scilly Isles. The properties in Regent Terrace also have parking, a unique commodity in Penzance for those who know the area. Camilla House can comfortably fit 4 cars or 7 at a squeeze, however, the surrounding streets have free parking. Penzance was also named as the new gourmet capital of Cornwall by the Independent in March 2016 and hence a perfect retreat for the evening after visiting the local tourist areas of St Michael's Mount, The Minack Theatre, St Ives and my favourite place, the coastal path at St Just.
