Information about the host

South Street Studio is an Artist studio, gallery and the home of the host Lili (as pictured). The quirky town house was an old warehouse & antique emporium in the past and it was converted into a home c. 30 years ago. The house is in a great central location, next to the shops, restaurants, cafe and weekly market.

The host, Lili, is an Artist/Designer who lives on site with her little dog Rio. Lili runs popular pottery workshops in the town for the community and tourists.

South Street is adjacent to the busy High Street. However, it is quiet as very limited traffic use the narrow road. Totnes is a very friendly old market town and it is famed for it's alternative and bohemian lifestyle. There's lots to do in the local area. There's the castle (located close to the house), lots of independent shops, the cafe culture, 2 x museums, river walks and in season boat rides. Being equidistant from Dartmoor and the coast, visitors are spoilt for choice during their stay.
