We are a small family run business, check out our website for details of our peaceful rural location. Our B&B was built in the Art Deco Era and some of the original features have been retained. Our rooms are tastefuly themed and decorated in the style and art from the period. We are within walking distance of a few local eateries including Armathwaite Hall and The Sun Inn a quaint English Pub.

We pride ourselves in providing a friendly and considerate service. We have won a Airbnb Superhost Award and Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence.

Bassenthwaite is one of the little known gems of the Lake District but a better position to base a visit to the Lake District would be hard to find. This is whether you choose to explore the immediate area on foot or bike or would like to travel further afield to the other lakes in the District. Which ever you choose Bassenthwaite holds a charm which will be sure to bring you back time and time again. If you fancy a bit more hustle and bustle Keswick and Cockermouth are a short drive away.
