## The space The flat is decorated in a mix of traditional and modern style, with homely touches and the original woodwork throughout the property. The double bedroom contains a chest of drawers where you are free to unpack and make yourself at home, and the living room sofa extends into a king size sofa bed sleeping an additional two people. The bright and airy kitchen contains its own dining area and all the amenities you need to prepare your own food during your stay! The comfortable living area is the perfect place to relax in front of the TV after a busy day sightseeing. ## The neighborhood The top of Leith Walk/Hillside area is a popular residential area with a distinctive creative and alternative feel all within walking distance from New Town and Old Town Edinburgh. My home is located a short walk from Broughton Street and Elm Row, an area characterised by delicious delis, tea houses, small restaurants, cafes and pubs. Around 10 minutes from Princes Street, Broughton Street is the ‘independent spirit of Edinburgh’. With Royal Terrace boasting beautiful classic townhouses dating back to the 19th Century it is a very appealing neighbourhood to stay in when visiting the city of Edinburgh. ## Getting around Edinburgh Airport: From the airport take the Tram or Airlink bus to the final stop. From here the apartment is a quick taxi ride or you can take the number 11/12/16/22/25 bus. Train: The nearest railway station is Edinburgh Waverley. From the station take Lothian Bus number 22/25. Alternatively the apartment is a quick taxi ride away.
