Hi I'm Dan. I'm a Southsea local that has both used and hosted on short stay platforms since 2015. I love travel and meeting new people, exploring new places and finding hidden gems. I am also an short stay property manager hosting several properties around Portsmouth and Southsea for others and enjoy ensuring they have a happy experience. We frequently use Booking ourselves and love to stay in places that feel stylish and quirky but also homely and where we might be able to pick up some good local tips from our hosts. We enjoy offering the same back to our guests. I know my way around pretty well and can tell you some great places to eat out or grab a drink. We like to give our guests their privacy but happy to help out with any info you need at your request.

Property information

An attractive and spacious flat with high ceilings and beautiful, Victorian-style coving and fireplaces. It is finished with modern, stylish furnishings and facilities. The open plan kitchen opens onto the welcoming lounge area that is home to a number of board games, making it perfect for socialising and hanging-out. The flat has 2 bedrooms; there is a quiet bedroom at the back of the house with kingsize bed and a bright airy twin room at the front of the property. I do own both a travel cot and high chair. Please advise if these are required for your stay so I can drop them off at the flat beforehand. The flat is based on a large residential road leading down to the seafront. It is in a building with full time tenants so guests will need to be mindful of this. Please be aware flat is on the lowest floor of the property but there are steps leading up to the front door. Please keep noise to a minimum when entering and exiting the building and also after 10pm at night in the apartment as the building houses long term tenants in the other flats.

Neighbourhood information

Enjoy staying within 10 minutes of the gorgeous and historic seafront, whilst having a wealth of activities, restaurants and bars to choose from. The road the accommodation is on leads straight down to the seafront or the other direction takes you to Albert road with an eclectic mix of bars and restaurants to choose from. Nearest train station is Fratton. There's plenty of buses and cheap taxi's or Uber locally as well
