Situated on the 'South West Coast Path' so ideally located for walkers, St. Edmunds House stands on the corner of Sands Road and Queens Road with a level walk of just 150 metres to the sea front and some 350 metres from Paignton town centre. We have Ground floor rooms and accept children of all ages, cots and high chairs are available. Well behave pets are very welcome by prior arrangement. There is a south facing lawned garden with patio furniture for guests use. Free Wi-fi is available throughout the fully centrally heated property. Paignton Harbour is a short walk away for boat trips and fishing, we are also within easy reach of Torquay, Brixham and Dartmouth (via ferry across the River Dart). Cycling is a popular pastime in the area and we have secure storage for any cycles or fishing equipment. Paignton Green has a free Geo-Park children's adventure playground and the Blue Flag beach is close by. An ideal base to explore Torbay, The English Riviera, and the South Devon coast. Linda & Roger have owned the Guest House since December 2019 and have spent a year completely re-decorating throughout to a modern high standard. They believe in the 'Why Compromise' approach for guests and treat all guests as they would like to be treated themselves and aim to offer a sincerely friendly and helpful service. Being local to Paignton they have a wealth of knowledge. Both have worked within the Hospitality industry for in excess of 30 years.

Torbay offers a great selection of activities for all the family no matter the weather. Paignton is an excellent resort catering for the young and old. Try fishing, paddle boats, swimming, crazy golf or just relax in a cafe and watch life go by. Go for a day trip on the historic Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway and, for the adventurous, visit the Water Park. Also with in easy commuting distance are the towns of Torquay and Brixham.
