This newly modernised city centre flat is ideal for visiting Edinburgh while being based in the heart of the historic Old Town. Centrally located, just off the Royal Mile, it's only a few minutes walk from Waverley train station and is perfect for accessing all of Edinburgh's top attractions, restaurants, shops and bars. As a fourth floor flat there are lovely views to Calton Hill, Salisbury Crags and Arthur's Seat. The flat is the perfect place for exploring all that Edinburgh has to offer. Guests have sole access to the whole flat. Fresh towels, linen and bathroom essentials are provided. Being on the top floor of a traditional Edinburgh tenement means there are a few stairs to enjoy climbing!! Honestly the views and airy brightness of the flat make it worthwhile. As it's a top floor flat it may not suit some with very young children or those who are a little less mobile. The bedroom has a double bed and large wardrobe, there is a sofa bed so that 4 can share the flat. There is a fully equipped kitchen. To help our guests relax there is a ready supply of tea, coffee, breakfast cereals, milk, fruit juice and a bottle of bubbly to get your break off to the perfect start.

Minutes away from Waverley station it enjoys fantastic top floor views of Calton Hill, the Royal Mile, Salisbury Crags and Arthur's Seat, which can be enjoyed from the built in window seat. The flat is light and bright and is perfectly located to access all the main tourist attractions, local restaurants, shops and bars. Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish Parliament, Holyrood Palace and the entrance to Holyrood Park are only a few minutes walk away. I will arrange to meet guests on arrival and will happily provide information and advice on things to do, places to see, shops and supermarkets, restaurants and bars to enjoy. If I can not meet you on arrival a member of my family will try to do so. Failing that there is a key lock box to allow you to pick up keys and access the flat. As the flat is located in a conservation area it has traditional single glazed, wooden framed windows. This does mean there can be some traffic noise in the flat but the bedroom is to the rear and very quiet.
