Stiniog Lodge is a spacious cottage located a mile from Blaenau Ffestiniog. The cottage has five bedrooms, one with an en-suite and the other four each with mezzanine sleeping areas offering flexible accommodation for up to twelve people. There is a shower and a cloakroom on the ground floor, along with a kitchen with dining area and woodburner, a sitting room with dining area and a large room for bikes and equipment storage. Outside are terraced gardens and ample off road parking. Stiniog Lodge is set in a quiet location but with cycle tracks, walks, slate caverns and more on the doorstep, with the mountains of Snowdonia and the wonderful coastline also within easy reach. Note - This property has a good house keeping bond of £150 which will be authorised to the card prior when the booking is made.Bookings at this property should be for a minimum of 3 nights only
The historic slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog is situated in a superb, central position for exploring the Snowdonia National Park, and has a good selection of amenities. The main local attractions include the slate mines - where visitors can take fascinating underground trips to see mining as it was done in days gone by - and the famous narrow gauge Ffestiniog mountain railway which runs for 13 miles through the Snowdonia National Park to the harbour town of Porthmadog. Many glorious local beaches, suitable for children, are within easy driving distance.
