Stone Acre Barn is a delightful barn conversion situated next to the owners’ home next to a working farm, on the outskirts of the small village of Bardon Mill, four miles from Haltwhistle. The property can sleep eight people in three bedrooms. All three bedrooms benefit from en-suite facilities, with a double and family room being located on the first floor and a further double with a fully adapted wet room that may be suitable for wheelchair users, on the ground floor. This spacious cottage boasts a cosy sitting room and a well-equipped farmhouse kitchen with a large dining table. Outside, there is off road parking for three cars and a lawned garden with furniture. Known as the 'Centre of Britain', this small market town is a great place from which to explore both Northumberland and Cumbria. Haltwhistle boasts a good range of shops and pubs - one of which, The Black Bull, is a real ale pub serving good food! There is an excellent leisure centre with heated open air swimming pool and cycle hire in the town, with pony trekking nearby. One of the best preserved stretches of Hadrian's Wall is only a mile to the north. A fantastic base for a Nortumberland adventure!
