It is the ideal holiday rental just a stone’s throw away from the town centre and sandy beaches. Stone Lodge is a Grade II Listed Coach House, which was completed in August 2019 ready for families to enjoy. This bespoke property has been transformed into a luxury holiday let. The existing out building boosts a stylish and contemporary extension. The original plot of land was once owned by Sculpture Alfred George Hopkins. Around 1932 Alfred relocated to Broadstairs and established the Stone Pottery company, his work is now displayed in the V&A. The History of this land has been a big influence in the name, design and restoration of this unique property The interior designed by "Evie" was created to add a bright, playful interior using artwork and accessories that reflects the summer vibes with hard wood elements to create a ski lodge feeling without making any changes throughout the year. With carefully chosen materials we have decided to leave the English weather to add dramatic effect such as, sunset, shadows and rainfall to help with the mood of the property all year round.
From sunrise to sunset the views are breath taking with panoramic views from our master bedroom. We are situated on the southeastern tip of Kent, a unique location which provides us with a more temperate climate than some other parts of the country. Excellent road and rail links from London means that getting here is quick and easy, even the continent is just a hop across the Channel, as we are closer to France than our county town of Maidstone.
