Hello and thank you for visiting our page, we hope you enjoy the images and of course the information we’ve provided. We are The Russell Family. Ker, Lizzie and our 3 children, Leia, Lily and Louis. We are Scottish by birth but reside between Scotland and Italy. I am the director of a business selling computer supplies, my wife is a qualified language teacher and we are both qualified ski instructors. All my children have been educated in Italy, my wife and all the kids are very fortunate to be bilingual, in both English and Italian, I however struggle, some say with both!!

On the outskirts of Drymen, situated in the heart of leafy Buchanan Castle Estate, Strathendrick House is a substantial 4 bedroom cottage which sleeps 9 people comfortably. Simple yet sophisticated, old but modern, it really is a haven of peace and tranquillity. The house offers a vast garden with private access to the river. Dominated by an enormous fir, and surrounded by mature trees and an orchard, we ensure utter seclusion and privacy. The village of Drymen is charming. Local amenities include several fine pubs all serving traditional hot and cold food, a supermarket, a bank, a local butcher, a gallery and gift shop, and a well stocked library. There are a variety of events including regular ceilidhs, agricultural shows and dances throughout the year. If you’re lucky to visit when the hotel in the village square is throwing a traditional Scottish dance night the experience is particularly exiting. Quite simply our delightful home has something to offer everyone. Situated in Scotland’s first national park with Loch Lomond and the mountain of Ben Lomond close by, the area is staggeringly beautiful. A huge variety of outdoor activities are literally on your doorstep
