Struan Hall

Quietly situated in the village of Aboyne, the family-run Struan Hall boasts free Wi-Fi and free private parking. It is in the heart of Royal Deeside, just 10 minutes’ walk from the historic Aboyne Castle.

The rooms feature a flat-screen TV, iPod docking station, and tea and coffee making facilities with homemade baked goods. The en suite shower rooms offer bathrobes and complimentary toiletries.

In the mornings, Struan Hall serves full Scottish breakfast with black pudding. Lighter options including smoked salmon are also available. Dishes are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce where possible. Packed lunches can be provided with prior request.

Aboyne is home to a supermarket, banks, and a restaurant. The area surrounding the village offers many outdoor pursuits, including walking, cycling, and most notably, gliding at Aboyne Airfield just 2 miles away. Guests are also free to relax in Struan Hall’s spacious guest lounge, which overlooks the gardens.
