I am the author of the best selling book 'Secret Edinburgh, an Unusual Guide' but this is the best kept secret! A bright contemporary 4th floor Leith flat with amazing skyline views east. 2 bedrooms and 2 great shower rooms. Master bedroom has a king size bed & ensuite shower, 2nd can be superking or twin. Fully equipped modern kitchen, spacious dining/living room with full height windows. Fast fibre wifi, lift, wide doors & spacious shower. Gated, covered free car parking space at back plus access to communal platform garden. All the great bars, & award winning restaurants of Leith on the doorstep. Flat is warmed by electric heaters, with double glazing throughout. If you're a fan of engineering you will be mesmerised by birds' eye view of the scrapyard crane claw :) NB The street outside is currently closed to traffic for roadworks, but you can drive into the private car park via the Shore/ Tower Street.

I am a writer and director, currently writing the 2nd edition of 'Secret Edinburgh, an Unusual Guide' ( out in April!) and I also wrote the 2nd edition of 'Secret London, Unusual bars and Restaurants'. Imake films and animations through my company Palindromicals. I now split my time between Edinburgh and London, but I grew up in Edinburgh and know all its nooks & crannies. I love to cook, watch movies, and any spare time I have, I spend dancing salsa!

The Shore of Leith is a fantastic historic area, now famed for its award winning eateries and welcoming drinkeries. Lovely area to walk around, stroll along the water, stop for a coffee in the converted warehouses. Golf is reputed to have started here. Supermarket only 5 mins walk, Royal Yacht Britannia 10 mins stroll, Port of Leith and shore bars - 5 mins stagger.
