We have lived here for 28 years and enjoy the village community life with several restaurants, pubs and a local leisure centre with swimming pool. Pontardawe boasts a Theatre (Pontardawe Arts Centre) with cinema and shows We enjoy eating out and using the facilities of the leisure centre.

We are only 20 minutes away from Dan yr Ogof Showcaves. Pontardawe Arts Centre is a busy theatre and has varied artists/shows throughout the year. We have a village grocery store that sells local produce and an award winning butcher. For those guests wishing to eat out we have a few local restaurants and pubs and a variety of Indian Restaurants. Pontardawe has a folk festival during the second week of August annually. Quad biking and 4x4 Off Road Driving experiences can be arranged from the property.
