I think 'Tŷ Iris' is unique because of the considerable attention to detail within the interior. It is stylish with eclectic touches which adds interest and gives the house it's individuality. Coastal interior accessories have been tastefully and subtly introduced to heighten that holiday feel! The house is adorned with decorative vases, ornaments and foliage and also has a mixture of fabrics, textures, colours and materials which make it very homely. Whilst the house has had a total renovation small touches of the seventies décor intentionally remain within the design, to create that warm trip down memory lane. Pre-loved and vintage evokes pleasant memories for many! Furniture has been upcycled and reused in numerous rooms, breathing new life into old items. It is clear when stepping inside 'Tŷ Iris' that much passion, love and thought has been put in to the design and much consideration into creating the right ambience for guests. Desire to create a comfortable, relaxed environment has certainly been at the forefront of the design concept. The property is in an ideal location with a village green, park, beach and gastro pub all on its doorstep!
Welcome to 'Tŷ Iris'. My husband and I are new to hosting but excited at the prospect! I have always dreamed about owning, designing and running a coastal holiday home and we finally decided to give it a whirl! I am a freelance interior designer and my husband runs his own electrical engineering company. We have two teenage children who are heavily involved in surf lifesaving and as a family we seem to spent most of our time on the beach! So we are the font of all knowledge when it comes to recommending local beaches! Our interests are our home and garden, travelling, walking, eating out, rugby, spending time with family and friends. Keeping fit as and when the time allows, although I am at my happiest when being creative. We have lived in Newton for fourteen years and absolutely love it. It's peaceful, picturesque and perfect in everyway! We are so looking forward to welcoming guests and being as helpful as we can during their stay.

The Newton Burrows and Merthyr Mawr sand dunes back Newton beach. Merthyr Mawr sand dune is the second highest sand dune in Europe, locally known as the 'big dipper'. One of the UK's largest Holiday Park Trecco Bay is situated in Newton offering a indoor heated pool and waterslide, a wet outdoor play area, crazy golf, restaurants, adventure playground and so on, available to members of the public.
