Tamarack lodge is a traditional log cabin and was hand built by myself on our organic sheep farm , ideal for disabled guests and anyone wanting peace and quiet .It is situated on the slopes of the lovely Yarty Valley on top the Blackdown Hills on the Somerset/Devon border .

My name is Matthew , I am a sheep farmer and log cabin builder , the family has been on this farm for four generations .I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and have travelled to some very interesting places myself . I enjoy the country life style , wildlife and the peaceful surroundings .
