I am originally from New Zealand arrived in London 30 years ago on a two year working holiday with one of the large auditing companies. I stayed. I still support the "mighty All Blacks" of course but am not fanatical. I enjoy the outdoors with skiing, cycling and sailing on my list. I enjoy travel which started on my journey to the UK of course.
Te Papa is situated in Ramsgate with two beaches of golden sands. It is close to both as well as harbour and town for real ale establishments and award winning restaurants. Te Papa is a 40 minute walk along the beach to another golden sand beach at Broadstairs and three real Italian ice cream palours, Dickens bleak house and more great restaurants. Return along the beach or catch cheap frequent bus back to stops within 200m of the property. Many walks along the beaches or cliff tops for great views across the channel to France which can be seen on clear days.
