John & Jayne own the Adelphi and have done since 2002 and offers eight letting bedrooms most with their own en-suite, our two single rooms are not en-suite be both have their own private bathroom, ideal for singles, couples, and families. We welcome all guests as they make our job worthwhile. Many of them return time and again. We have a relaxed atmosphere and strive to ensure that everyone has a relaxing and comfortable stay. We offer a warm welcome whether travelling for business or pleasure. We are a family run guest house just couple of minutes from Paignton sandy beach and only short distance from the train, bus & coach stations and few minutes to the main shopping area The Adelphi was built around 1919 and therefore has a distinctive homely feel just like a House, all rooms are situated on the first and second floor and are accessed via stairs. We pride ourselves on our home cooked breakfasts, A full English breakfast is served, with other options available. Unfortunately, we have no onsite parking but free street parking and pay and display parking is available in the street or a large multi-story car park just a 4-minute walk away.
