The Ashleigh Guesthouse

A 4-star, family-run guest house, The Ashleigh is a short walk from Paignton town centre, with exciting breakfasts, free WiFi and a sun terrace overlooking Queens Park.

The bedrooms all have a bathroom with a shower, toiletries and a hairdryer. Other facilities include tea/coffee and work desks.

Guests can relax in the lounge, which features a flat-screen TV and a selection of DVDs and CDs. The sun lounge overlooks Queens Park as well as the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway.

Paignton rail, bus and coach stations as well as Paignton Beach and Harbour are a 2-minute walk from The Ashleigh Guesthouse. There are many restaurants, bars and shops a short distance away.

The well known Paignton Zoo is about a mile away with good public transport links.

Information about the host

There are many changes to enjoy at The Ashleigh this year (2021) Ian & Lesley have updated and decorated throughout the whole building. We are now licensed and the bar area got a make over. Guests can now also choose from a variety of Bar meals. We are still adhering to all Covid Safe Guidelines. Hand Gels, Wipes and Masks are located around the building.

Your hosts are Lesley and Ian, we have been the proud owners of the Ashleigh Guesthouse since 1st February 2019, so far we are loving every minute of it, we take pride in everything we do and we have already met some really lovely guests which makes it all worth while.

Paignton is part of Torbay which is famously known as the English Riviera because of our micro climate, White and cream painted buildings and palm trees, we think Paignton is an area where families can come and enjoy themselves from beaches, amusements and play parks for the children, Theatres and restaurants for the adults. We have our own steam railway which we overlook and it runs to Kingswear for Dartmouth, Brixham is our famous fishing Harbour which is just a few miles away and can be reached by a regular bus service or by a boat trip from our own pretty little Harbour, Also close by is the Paignton Zoo very popular for children and adults and many more places of interest close by.
