The Barn is a lovely conversion bursting with character, nestled on a working dairy farm on the fringes of Wirksworth. It comprises six bedrooms; a king-size double, a double, two twins, a ground floor king-size double and a ground floor single, sleeping up to 13 guests. There are also two bathrooms, a ground floor bathroom, a ground floor cloakroom, a kitchen/diner, a utility and a sitting room with woodburning stove. This small market town is situated just a few miles from Matlock, on the edge of The Peak District. Wirksworth boasts independent shops alongside the deli, butchers and bakers, as well as the Puzzle Gardens, the Heritage Centre and the surrounding countryside, including nearby Carsington Water, Black Rocks and the High Peak Trail. Only two miles away, the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site in Cromford is also not to be missed.
