Our family recently moved into South Lincolnshire in 2020.. We have really enjoyed exploring the local area, the great countryside and nearby villages. Bourne town centre is a 5 minute walk and has a vibrant but small high street. On a Thursday or Saturday there is a small vegetable market for local produce. On a Friday and Saturday Hambledon bakery and Grassmere Butchers are worth a visit. South Lincolnshire is traditionally flat and therefore a great place to walk and cycle. We have plenty of room to store your bikes. Toft Golf club is a 10 minute drive if you fancy 18 holes. Local attractions include Bourne Woods and the immaculately kept war memorial gardens just across the road if you want to relax. Stamford is a 17th/18th period town popular for shopping, eating and for its historic buildings and churches. Burghley House is a prominent feature and is open to the public. Grimsthorpe Castle Park & Gardens is open to the public Rutland Water - a combination of walks, sailing, crazy golf, dog walks or for relaxing by the lake.
