The Baytree

The Baytree is a well-maintained Victorian property located in a quiet, tree-lined road only 5 minutes’ walk from the seafront, shops, restaurants and English Riviera Conference Centre.

The Baytree is 'Highly Commended' in the English Riviera Quality Awards for Best Bed & Breakfast. It has been awarded 4 Star with Silver Accolade by the VisitEngland Quality Assessment Scheme from 2008 to 2014, and the coverted Breakfast Award also from 2012 to 2014. The Baytree has a Food Hygiene rating of 5 out of 5.

The family-run Baytree has refurbished rooms with new furniture, carpets, beds, decoration and en suite bathrooms. If you are arriving in Torquay by train or coach, The Baytree offers a free pick-up and drop-off service (Torquay train and coach stations only). Early and later check-in/check-out by arrangement.

Information about the host

We purchased The Baytree in October 2002. Having a background in Estates Surveying & Engineering has helped to complete the renovations and offer guests the expected services. We genuinely enjoy what we do and look forward to welcoming you.
