All rooms have a TV, desk, leather armchair and tea/coffee facilities. Ironing facilities are also available. Each en-suite bathroom is stylishly appointed with mosaic tiling and has a bath or shower, hairdryer and luxury spa toiletries.

Full English breakfast is served each morning from 07:00 – 09:30, and guests who need to leave early can request a take-away breakfast box. All breakfasts are individually cooked using locally sourced produce with a wide variety of continental also available. The relaxed bar serves local beers, real ales, a wide range of wines and a collection of over 40 Gins.

Peterlee lies around 24 miles south of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and is less than 30 minutes from Durham Cathedral and the city’s many restaurants and bars. Business travellers will be within 6-10 minutes’ drive of the North East Industrial Estate and Bracken Hill and Whitehouse Business Parks.

A warm welcome awaits you at The Bell Guesthouse located in Horden, County Durham. The site was acquired and built in 1925 by Henry Bell. The Bell has recently gone under extensive refurbishment throughout, whilst retaining the original open fires places to relax and unwind. The Bell provides a comfortable base for exploring the North East of England. In 30 minutes’ drive you can be in the beautiful Durham dales, North Yorkshire moors and the North hills of Northumberland. For pleasure?.... If you Love shopping or sight seeing there’s an array to choose from Hartlepool and the historic Quay, Dalton Park to the bridges in Sunderland. The historical city of Durham with its impressive Cathedral, Castle and the River Wear to Newcastle city centre and the Metro centre. For business?....
