The Green Room has a separate bathroom for which we provide soft waffle robes, also has TV/DVD, tea/coffee making facilities and offers a huge space to relax. Born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and having lived in South Africa since 1975, my husband and I moved back to the UK and to Northumberland in 2012. THE BRIDGES B&B is situated in the village of North Broomhill, 2 miles from a wonderful,sandy beach at Druridge Bay and the harbour town of Amble (voted in 2015 as Britain's Best Coastal town), with its many pubs and restaurants. We are centrally situated to the quaint villages of Warkworth and Alnmouth and Harry Potter's Alnwick Castle. Day trips up the magnificent Northumberland coastal route take you to Bamburgh Castle, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and the Scottish Borders.
