A spacious, former cartlodge sleeping 6 with an open-plan living space and stunning views across the parkland beyond. The property is in a rural and peaceful location allowing you to truly relax and enjoy the scenic views of Constable country.
The Cartlodge is located in the parkland for Barhams Manor giving it a very peaceful and beautiful location to relax and spend time in. You can explore the parkland which is overlooking the River Brett and head further afield on the paths which take you to Dedham. The landscape was made famous in numerous Constable paintings but the area also provided inspiration for Gainsborough and Munnings. Beyond Constable country, the region is also famous for it's association with the wool trade. The five towns of Hadleigh, Long Melford, Lavenham, Clare and Sudbury all generated their wealth from the trade. There are some beautiful timber framed buildings in both the towns and also the neighbouring villages. The towns also boasts lots of good places to eat and independent shops.
