A cosy two bedroom apartment above our award winning pub and restaurant. Located in the center of Kelso, tucked away just behind the town square. A unique space suitable for a group of friends or a family. Also great for two persons who want to spread out and enjoy the independence an apartment offers over a hotel room. The flexibility to cook for yourselves or enjoy some award winning pub grub and Tempest BrewCo beer in the restaurant downstairs. A double room with king size bed plus a second room with a double lower bunk with a single on top. As the apartment is above the Inn, there are two flights of stairs to access it with no lift and is therefore not suitable for anyone who has difficulty using stairs. Sofa bed in the living area allows for additional bed configuration options We do not have private parking but there are three public (and free) car parks directly behind the property. We can provide a welcome pack of local and artisan produce to include everything you require for breakfast. Free WiFi.

There is lots to see and do in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Kelso itself has many interesting sights. Kelso offers a unique shopping experience centered around one one of the most striking town squares in the country. Kelso Abbey is one of four Abbeys in the borders - A fantastic cycle route! Floors Castle is just a short journey away and the home of the Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe. Kelso is an ideal center for both leisure and business. Kelso lies on the river Tweed next to the world famous Junction Pool salmon fishing beat. Edinburgh is only 40 miles away and Newcastle about 60 miles. There is a brand new rail link to Edinburgh from Tweedbank only 15 miles away. The borders is fully of friendly Golf Courses - 24 in total less than 40 minutes drive from Kelso, including the impressive Championship Roxburghe Course just beyond the town's outskirts. The borders offer a varied feast for the cycling enthusiast.
