The Bespoke Inns family has owned the Dragon since 2009. Due to popular demand in 2014 we extended our restaurant and kitchen areas, then in 2016 added our fantastic Cottage accommodation. Situated just next door is the award winning Dragon pub/restaurant which offers amazing locally sourced food and drinks including our very special champagne breakfasts & afternoon teas. The Cottage is the ideal location for a leisure break, romantic getaway or activity weekend. We also welcome your furry friends. We have 7 beautiful rooms at The Cottage all individually designed with tea & coffee making facilities, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, fan, heater, flat screen TV, wifi & toiletries. We have 5 standard double rooms and 2 superior rooms. 4 of our rooms can be made into twin rooms and 2 of our rooms can accommodate additional beds or travel cots. Willington, and the surrounding area including the very popular Mercia Marina, is perfect for energetic outdoor activities like cycling, paddle boarding, canoeing & running. For a more relaxing break why not take a barge trip, enjoy a spot of bird & wildlife watching or just take a gentle stroll along the canal.
