Information about the host

The Studio is an independent room in our large house in Budleigh. We use Egyptian linen & white towels. There is a large ensuite shower room, kitchenette with sink, coffee machine, combination microwave, fridge, tableware, dining & sitting area with internet Smart TV. A decked balcony leads to a private garden & patio with extensive sea views. 2 mins walk from town, 5 mins from the beach & coast path. Quietly situated at the end of our private drive there is parking on site but The Studio does not have vehicular access to the door. Access is up a steep path of steps which are beautifully carpeted with bluebells in Spring. The path is well lit but there are 25 steps and some uneven ground. We think it is charming but if you have limited mobility or find steps a challenge, then maybe this is not for you. The Studio is available with or without breakfast. For an extra fee we can offer a continental breakfast of fruit juice, granola, yoghurt, pastries and homemade jam or provide you with a voucher for a full English at Earls Coffee House in Budleigh. We have spectacular sunsets and amazing moonlight vistas over the sea ... Come and join us!

Budleigh Salteron is on the east Devon coast. We are 5 minutes from the famous Jurassic Coast path and 3 minutes (down hill!) from the beach. We are close (about 5 minutes by car .. uphill) to the Golf Club (and can provide storage clubs), our garden backs on to the famous Croquet Club (so you will hear the gently knock of the hammers). Exmouth is 10 minutes by car for the nearest station and Sidmouth about the same via the coast road for the famous folk week.
