Information about the host

I studied Fine Art when my youngest child started school. It was something I had always wanted to do and had not had an opportunity earlier in my life. I loved every minute of the course and now I use the skills I learned to create my own work. At college, I worked with a variety of different materials but since college, I have discovered textiles and now my work is mainly created using fabrics as a medium. I dye my own fabrics using plants from my garden and allotment and I also use rust to dye fabric. The beautiful landscape of North Devon is a never ending source of inspiration.
