The Granary

Information about the host

The Granary is a small, self-contained cottage attached to the main house but with its own entrance, deck and BBQ area. Opposite our organic, sourdough bakery and set amidst beautiful gardens (croquet, hens, sunken trampoline, huge oaks) with footpaths, cycle routes and lanes into the national park, it is quiet, cosy and special. Choose your breakfast loaf direct from the bakery to enjoy with all the other bountiful and delicious ingredients supplied for you in your own, well equipped kitchen. There is full central heating but also a little wood-burning stove for cosy evenings - we supply plenty of wood. Children are welcome to sleep on the fold-out sofa bed and a 'portable-cot' can be supplied for babies. You are very welcome to sit out in the garden, play badminton and croquet and relax on the grass around the pond. We have great walking tracks and trails from the property.
