Recently renovated and refurbished chalet style house, luxury accommodation and stylish living spaces. Large gardens, balcony and extremely peaceful surroundings. Corporate and weekly bookings welcome. Discounts available for longer bookings. The house is in a secluded area south-east of Huddersfield in the ancient village of Almondbury. It's an unusual 1960's architect designed timber framed house with 4 double bedrooms, 25 foot kitchen/diner and large great room style lounge. All 4 double rooms available to guests; two king sized with en-suite, 2 doubles with shared luxury bathroom with walk in drench shower and separate toilet. Guests are provided with bedding, towels, t-towels, toilet paper and basic toiletries in case you forgot. The kitchen has tea, coffee, sugar, milk, a small selection of cereals to get you started and the basics such as salt, pepper, olive oil and so on. Please note the house is not suitable for anyone who is highly allergic to dogs. Although it is extremely clean a dog does live in the house.

The house is extremely comfortable and guests repeatedly comment on how clean and welcoming it is. I have put together a house file with everything I can think of, including some local walks. I can answer any of your questions about the house and surroundings in advance and will be available by text and phone during your booking. Guests have access to the whole house including the fully fitted large kitchen/diner and lounge with its log burner and stunning views up the garden. The utility room has a washer, dryer and iron available.

Close to Holmfirth, the Peak District, and within easy reach of Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Bronte Country the area is a walkers and cyclers paradise in the rolling Yorkshire Hills. Almondbury is a small village mentioned in the Doomsday Book, with shops and an ancient church that was once the centre of a huge parish. We are 15 minutes from Holmfirth, home of Last of the Summer Wine which is full of quaint shops pubs and great places to eat. Wakefield, Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester are all less than an hour away.
