Heather & Ian are natives of Edinburgh and chose the area for their B&B for the short walk to the city centre and the quiet peaceful outlook onto Royal Terrace Park, and of course the warm comfortable familiar feel of the house with many original features that gives Hedges its character. Hedges town house was built in 1880 by "Playfair". Come and see for yourself - we are sure you won't be disappointed.

Hillside Crescent is mostly residential in a leafy up market part of the city The ever popular Playhouse theatre is only a 5 minute walk away set amid many restaurants and pubs. The Glass Omni Centre with a Weatherspoon bar and many popular chain restaurants and a multi cinema is conveniently situated next to the Theatre John Lewis is also a 5 minute walk away Harvey Nicols and Multrees walk with designer shops also in our area Historic Calton Hill is opposite the Hedges. Directly in front of the Hedges is Royal Terrace Park with large old Oak Trees flowering shrub area and park benches enjoy the nature trail and spot the family of squirrels There is also a laundrette within walking distance
