The Highgate Apartment is a modern and cosy place to stay while in Cumbria. There is an impressive communal entrance hall with a sweeping staircase, leading up to Apartment 3 on the first floor. A step up leads to the entrance door and into the apartment. Downstairs is an open-plan kitchen/living room with large windows framed by original Georgian shutters that creates a feeling of daylight. The cosy living room contains a fireplace with marble lintel and a flat-screen TV. Upstairs, you can find two double bedrooms benefiting from large Georgian windows with window seats for watching the world go by under your feet. The modern kitchen features a good range of base and drawer units with Schott Ceran ceramic hob and extractor fan over, stainless steel sink with drainer incorporated within the granite work surface, built-in Whirlpool electric oven, microwave and grill, integrated dishwasher, washing machine/drier, fridge and freezer, part tiled walls, ceramic tiled floor. The bathroom comprises a bath with a rain shower head over and shower screen, pedestal wash hand basin with mixer tap, a ladder style radiator, and mirrored bathroom cabinet.
