New for August 2019, The Hyde is a beautiful hand-built cabin in the trees, a hideaway in the valley close to the beach of Porthtowan. Stylish interiors, comfy king-size bed, gorgeous shower room, a full kitchen decorated with handmade tiles from Piccolpasso, Wi-Fi, TV, Bose sound system, Heston Blumenthal BBQ, and a secluded private garden; perfect for two guests all year round.

Phillippa and Johnny are both well-travelled having spent many years in far-flung places. As a result, when they built The Hyde, they knew what their guests would want; somewhere beautiful to relax, undisturbed. Phillipa is a writer and Johnny lifelong surfer and owner of infamous Tris Surf Shop. They live on-site and are always happy to meet their guests.

Built on a UNESCO world heritage site in the heart of historic mining country complete with views of a castellated engine house, The Hyde is one of the very few properties in this unique area.
