The Lady of the Lake is a cosy self catering cottage for two guests looking for a romantic getaway or just a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The Lady of the Lake has stunning views across Lake Windermere to the mountains and is just a 5 minute walk along a private track owned by the estate to the lake shore and jetty where boats can be launched (no overnight mooring). There is also a communal garden. The Lady of the Lake benefits from free private parking directly next to the cottage, high speed unlimited fibre broadband and a fully fitted kitchen for those who may be be social distancing or who wish to make the most of self catering. The cottage measure 36 meters square and comprises of an open plan living/dining area, modern shower room, snug with a day bed for lounging and smart TV and DVD player, and adjoining cosy bedroom with kingsize bed. The Lady of the Lake is proud to have received over 100 five star reviews since it opened in 2015 with guests returning year on year. The Location is perfect for those travelling by train, just a 15 minute walk from Windermere train station and the town centre, with regular buses throughout the Lake District.
