Located in Wick in the Highlands region, The Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage is near to the Lighthouse at Noss Head. Guests do not have access to the Lighthouse building, but can enjoy the garden. Guests have access to free WiFi.

Information about the host

The Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage is in the same compound as the Lighthouse itself, but sadly we do not have access to the Lighthouse. The Lighthouse is owned and run by the Northern Lighthouse Board. The cottage was fully redecorated in 2918 with a well equipped kitchen, a family / dining room, a living room and three bedrooms. You can walk to the the hidden Sandigoe Beach, or the ruined Castle Sinclair Girnigoe. The headland is great for watching wildlife - everything from puffins to seals. Explore the historic houses and exceptional scenery of Scotland's North East Coast. We love sharing this special part of the world with visitors, and what better way to experience the sea-coast than in a lighthouse cottage?

If you are staying four days or more, she'll agree a time to come by and answer any questions about the cottage and the area, let us know if you'd like her to pop by if you are only taking a short break. She will make sure your welcome pack includes tea, coffee, hot chocolate, local biscuits and some local jam for breakfast.
