The Lion Inn

One of our top picks in Winchcombe. Formerly a coaching inn dating back to the 1500s, The Lion Inn is situated 15 minutes’ drive from the large spa town of Cheltenham and features an on-site restaurant and bar. There is also a garden which can be used for al fresco dining.

Each room has fresh flowers, a power shower and free Bramley toiletries. There are no TVs in the bedrooms. Free tea and coffee is provided when requested from reception. Each bedroom has individual character, 2 with their own stone stairway and 1 with a vintage mural.
