The Loft @ The Granary is a beautifully converted Loft Apartment in the stunning seaside town of Ayr on Scotlands West Coast (less than 1 hr from Glasgow by train and road and minutes from Glasgow Prestwick Airport). The Loft itself is a character filled apartment with the original beams (circa 1900) and vaulted ceilings but provides all the modern amenities expected with a touch of luxury. It is very close to Ayr Town Centre and has amazing views over the River Ayr to the Carrick Hills in the distance – the perfect place for your break in Ayrshire.

I'm Norma and my husband Andy and I just love Ayrshire! We come from near Edinburgh however feel so at home in Ayrshire and fell in love with The Loft @ The Granary - buying it in 2016 and renovating it to be a stunning furnished holiday let. When we're not meeting lovely guests from all over the world you can find us on the golf course - usually Prestwick St Nicholas golf course where we're both members and if any guest would like information on golf in the area please ask as Andy is a PGA Professional and has played most of the courses in a 50 mile radius! You will possibly also meet my Mum Jessie - she stays locally - meets all our guests in person (if we can't be there) and makes the most amazing home made shortbread for your arrival.......

Originally ‘The Granary’ was the grain store for merchants Sinclair Mcgill (circa 1900) and the charm of the original building has been lovingly retained to enhance the feel of the apartment which was converted around 2008. Allocated free parking is available adjacent to the entrance to The Granary which is very close to Ayr Town Centre and the beach and has amazing views over the River Ayr to the Carrick Hills in the distance – the perfect place for your break in Ayrshire.
