The Mulberrys is a lovingly restored and extended farm house dating back to 1830. The guest bedrooms are located in the original cottage, at ground floor level, and there is a lounge/dining room for sole use of our guests. Each bedroom has a luxury en-suite bathroom with large walk in rain showers. A separate bathroom with roll top bath is also available for our guests. We pride ourselves on our extensive, freshly cooked breakfast menu, including vegetarian and vegan options. All ingredients are locally sourced and we make our own stout bread and preserves. All our eggs are supplied by our own free range hens . We will do our absolute best to cater for all dietary restrictions/requirements. Come and explore St Patrick’s country, visit the Cathedral, his grave and museum in the county town of Downpatrick just five miles from The Mulberrys. The stunning Mourne Mountains and Strangford Lough offer spectacular scenery and if your a Game of Thrones fan you’ll be ideally situated to visit filming locations and props located around the area. The Mulberrys is a short drive to Royal County Down, Ardglass, St Patrick's and Spa golf clubs. The vibrant city of Belfast is a half hour drive away were you can visit the Titanic Exhibition Centre, or explore the eclectic mix of restaurants and pubs in the Cathedral quarter.

The Mulberrys is a quiet, relaxed place to stay. We want it to feel like ‘home from home’ and we’ll do our best to provide an enjoyable experience. We can provide information on all local attractions and the best places to dine, or where to get get a great pint of Guinness. We are dog lovers, and we have the facility to accept dogs by prior arrangement. We also welcome, walkers, golfers and cyclists. We’ve been fortunate to live here for over twenty years and that means we have a wealth of knowledge about the local area and also how best to explore it.

The Mulberrys is located on a quiet country road in the heart of St Patrick’s country. An ideal base for exploring Strangford Lough, St Patrick’s heritage trail, the Mourne Mountains and several Game of Thrones film locations. Half an hours drive will take you to the vibrant city of Belfast were you can explore the Titanic quarter , enjoy a pint of Guinness in the Cathedral quarter or dine in one the many fabulous restaurants the city has to offer.
