Lovely 1 bedroom house in Caol just outside Fort William, 300m walk along the road will take you to Neptune’s staircase where you will pass a lovely little local pub called The Lochy very friendly and serves good beer and food from breakfast till 9pm. Lovely views of Ben Nevis the highest mountain in the Uk and Nevis range ski resort one of 5 ski resorts in Scotland. The Caledonian canal is also the path for the great glen way which is right across the street and goes all the way to inverness.

Because of Covid 19 I’m not sure how much will be open in and around the local area but We are 10 minutes from Fort William town centre by car. Or you can take the bus or train both stop no more that a 5 min walk from the doorstep. The town with its old fort and Inverlochy castle has lots of history and plenty of good eateries and pubs with live music and big screen TVs for live sports events. There’s also a new nightclub open till 3am for the very fit and young at heart. The Caledonian canal with the famous Neptune’s staircase passed right by the house just across the road with access to the Great Glen Way for walking or cycling. Nevis Range is a 10 minute car ride where you have winter snow sports and summer down hill and cross country mountain bike tracks. Bus stop outside the front door will take you straight into the town centre and the train station is a 5 minute walk from the door. There’s plenty of parking in the town if your driving.
