The Old Mill is a detached, single-storey cottage outside the village of Trelawnyd near Dyserth. The cottage sleeps two people in one twin bedroom. There is also a bathroom, a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a sitting room with a dining area and a woodburning stove and a crog loft. Outside there is off road parking for two cars, bike storage and horse grazing and stabling available. There is also a decked patio with furniture and a BBQ. The Old Mill is a perfect retreat for a couple or walkers looking to relax. Please note as of 2019 this property will be pet free- any bookings for 2018 with a pet already booked on it will be allowed to travel.
Dyserth is close to the lovely North Wales coast, four miles from the seaside town of Prestatyn. This pretty little village was mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086 and has ancient castle ruins, a stunning waterfall with quaint tea rooms next to it, two pubs both serving food and the Parish church of St Bridget with superb stained glass windows. There is easy access to lovely local walks including Offas Dyke Path, Gop Hill, Allt Y Craig and Golden Grove, where you can enjoy the fantastic scenery and vistas of the local area.
