Situated in the heart of the North York Moors National Park and handily placed for touring both Moors and Coast, the idyllic little village of Hutton-le-Hole is widely accepted as the prettiest in the area. Charming stone built cottages cluster around undulating village greens, with a stream (Hutton Beck) passing through. It's the perfect spot to sit and watch the world go by - but don't be surprised to find sheep grazing next to you! The village is home to the Ryedale Folk Museum, a 'hands on' museum of local life and tradition, which includes a reconstructed Elizabethan Manor House, farm buildings and craft shops.
