We have been at the Penellen for 12 years, we are rated 4 star by the AA guest accommodation , and have been a finalist at the AA friendliest B/B awards We welcome guests from all over the world, and share our knowledge of the local area with tourist information packs and our own input. Our aim is that our guests enjoy their stay with us so much, that like many others, return to us time and time again. When we bought the penellen the thing that impressed us more than any other B/B was the fantastic views of the sea, like we always say, if you come to Cornwall you want to see the sea, and we do.
Cornwall is famous for its dramatic coast line, whether you like lazing on the beach, coastal walking or visiting local towns and villages, we have lots to offer. A visit to St Ives is on most peoples agenda, the Tate gallery, the Barbara Hepworth museum, the harbour with shops, restaurants and bars. See the seals at Godrevy lighthouse built in 1858 a fantastic walk along the beach, or follow the coast path which is 20 metres from our front door. Together with St Michaels mount at Marazion, the Minack theatre and lands end to name but a few. Locally we have paradise park , where you can see all kinds of birds and animals. The world famous Eden Project, Flambards amusement park Helston, and you may even see the filming of the tv hit Poldark which is filmed locally. There are lots more attractions and we have information leaflets on most.
