The Potting Shed is perfect for a little get away for one or two people for walking holidays or an escape to the countryside whilst still being close to a City. Bossingham is a beautiful, rural village that is just 5 miles from Canterbury City Centre so easy to get to the shops and a vibrant city full of great places to eat, bars and pubs. The Potting Shed is a studio with a double bed, fully equipped kitchenette and an en-suite shower room. It has it's own entrance, WiFi and sky TV. The Potting Shed is situated in our garden, at the back of our house. It is a bijou space with a fully equipped kitchenette, a fold out table with two folding chairs, a double bed, a small armchair and an en-suite shower room. We have 4 dogs - who will be kept separate from you where possible. They are extremely friendly but there may be the odd occasion where you might meet or hear the odd bark or two! Access to the property is through a side gate, into the garden. The Potting Shed is situated at the rear of our house. There is parking to the front, on an open gravel drive.
I work from home and therefore usually contactable most of the time but always by phone.
Bossingham itself is very small but does have a wonderful village pub The Hop Pocket in staggering distance. We are surrounded by beautiful fields and woodlands to go walking. Maps can be provided with various routes and distances for everyone to enjoy. In Stelling Minnis, the next village along, there is a shop, post office and pub - The Rose and Crown, well known for it's excellent food and HUGE portion sizes. In the opposite direction is Lower Hardres. that is home to a great Farm Shop for all your fresh fruit and veg and has an onsite butchers for the best local meats. There is also a pub there too, The Granville which serves food all day and evening, 7 days a week. Canterbury is just 5 miles away with an abundance of tings to do, places to visit and eat and drink. The Eurotunnel is approx 13 miles, Ashford International Train station is approx 9.5 miles, Port of Dover is approx 17miles. Walking is the preferred local method of getting around but there is a bus stop at the end of the road which will take you directly into Canterbury or towards the coast to Folkestone. There is parking available onsite.
