We bought Priors Barn as a derelict pig barn and spent 2 years converting it into a beautiful luxurious holiday cottage. We have tried to think of everything to make your stay very special with a well equipped kitchen comfortable sofas and chairs, a log burner with logs an coal provided and little touches to make everything perfect. There's Wifi throughout the property and FreeSat and FreeSky TV systems plus a smart TV for use with the internet. There's a DVD player and loads of disks plus 'Amazons Alexa' is at hand to assist if she can. Theres an Ice Maker in the utility shed too. Outside there's a large decking area with chairs and tables and an area to sit and relax above the stream. There's secure parking for 3 cars at the front. People with limited mobility will find the barn perfect. The barn is perfect all year round for cosy winter nights in with the log burner going to warm summer days with all the doors open and space to eat out and entertain.

Priors Barn is in a small hamlet called Underhill in the village of Maresfield in East Sussex. It's right on the edge of the Ashdown Forest with it's thousands of acres of beautiful countryside, perfect for walks, cycling or horse riding. Close to the towns of Uckfield, Crowborough and Lewes and only an hour from Brighton and many other coastal towns and with so many great places to visit, pubs to enjoy and sporting activities to try. Opposite the barn is a privately owned lake for which day tickets for fishing can be purchased. Theres a good pub 5 minutes walk away and plenty more only a short drive away. Maresfield has a small village shop where you can get all the basics you need and there's a large Tesco in Uckfield and a Waitrose in Crowborough too. Trains to London (About 80 Mins) run from Uckfield every hour.
